Eco Corner is celebrating Earth Day by hosting a Carry-Your-Own-Shopping-Bag Day. The store recycles tetra packs to make stationery and tissue paper. "We are encouraging consumers to cut open used tetra packs, clean them and drop them at our store. We can send someone to collect the packets from offices as well," said store owner Urvashi Mody.

Dial-a-Mali anyone?
Go Green, India's first ever garden mall, sells plants, garden accessories and services under one roof. They offer services such as Gifts of Earth (gifting through plants), Plants On Hire (for corporates), Dial-a-Mali (get professional service at your doorstep for gardening issues) and Plants on Vacation (you can leave your plants with them for maintenance when on vacation).

Organic cotton wear for kids
Good Earth introduced a kid's line, called Gumdrops, on April 16. The eco-friendly line is the brainchild of Simran Lal, who says the inspiration for the clothes are her two baby boys. It includes clothes made from organic cotton and bath towels made from organic bamboo. Gumdrops also includes beanbags, baby sofas, a Royal Enfield collection of apparel and bedding and eco-sensitive gardening sets made from recycled metal. A
percentage of the sales will be donated to the education of underprivileged children.

Cyclothon for a greenu00a0cause
It's time to bring out your bicycles to take part in the BSA Hercules India Cyclothon. The event
celebrates the eco-friendly sport of cycling. On April 24, the Mumbai Metropolitan Regional Development Authority (MMRDA) will launch the city's first-ever cycling track at Bandra Kurla Complex. You also have the option of raising money for charity by running for a particular cause.
