Despite committing to deliver the Honda Activa 125 booked on April 30 within 45 days, Navi Mumbai-based dealer Pratik Honda is yet to deliver the vehicle to a Koparkhairane resident; fails to clarify on delay
Purchasing a brand new scooter for his wife turned into a nightmare for 35-year-old Koparkhairne resident Venkata Satish, after he booked a Honda Activa 125 on April 30 from Pratik Honda, in Navi Mumbai. Despite being promised delivery before or by June 15, Satish is yet to receive the two-wheeler.
Satish, who had made an advance payment of Rs 5,000, said, “At the time of booking, I was assured that the scooter would be delivered within 45 days. But when I approached the showroom officials after they failed to meet the deadline, the manager told me that the waiting period for the vehicle was five months.

It’s been over seven months since I booked the scooter, and I’m still waiting for the delivery.” Satish claimed almost all his emails to the company went unanswered. “They recently replied to the email I had sent in June, saying they would look into the matter. I followed up on the issue, but all those emails went unanswered,” he added.
When mid-day contacted Parvesh Jamadar, the showroom manager, he said, “We have spoken to the higher authorities and have asked them to arrange for the vehicle at the earliest.” He had earlier assured that the scooter would be delivered to Satish by December 10.
However, when questioned about the delivery date mentioned on the receipt at the time of booking, the manager failed to give a satisfactory answer and reiterated that the waiting period for the said vehicle was five months.
