Navjot Singh Sindhu approached to appear on 'Kaun Banega Crorepati'?

While on the subject of the quiz show which has already had a crorepati within the third day of its going on air last week, the birdie also has this nugget about Navjot Singh Sidhu

The cricketer-turned-commentator was asked to be one of the experts on the show who appear on the screen to aide the contestants when they are not sure of the answer. Sidhu apparently was not too keen but instead suggested that one of his friends appear out- of-turn on the hot seat as he was intelligent and capable of winning a huge amount. Hmmm...
