While the actor was unable to comment as he is travelling, a source claims, “Nawaz has played characters with grey shades earlier, but in this he will be seen as an out-an-out villain in a masala film. He is all geared up to start shooting for Kick.
As an actor he likes playing different characters which give him a chance to showcase his talent.”
Ever since the news that Nawaz would star with Salman in a film did the rounds, many wondered whether it was the script or the charm of working with Salman or both that made Nawazuddin take up a rather commercial film.
When asked that Nawaz is essaying the role of a villain, director Sajid Nadiadwala maintained, “No it’s not true.”
The source adds, “Nawazuddin finished a month-long schedule of Pushpendra Mishra’s Ghoom Ketu in Benaras and will start shooting again for the film once he is back in mid-December after attending the Sundance Film Festival.”
