The latest notification of Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has been declared today, 03 May 2016 at 12 noon for Nagaland Board Result 2016 for HSLC class 10th and HSSLC class 12th. Students can visit the official websites nbsenagaland.com and nagaland.gov.in to check their respective Nagaland NBSE Result 2016.

Much to the relief of worried students, the Nagaland Board of Secondary Education (NBSE) has notified that the Nagaland HSLC Result and Nagaland HSSLC Result 2016 has been declared today, 03 May 2016 at 12 Noon. The board has also informed students that after the official declaration, Nagaland Board Results 2016 for 10th and 12th Class students would be made available online on their official website nbsenagaland.com and nagaland.gov.in. Alternatively, results will also be available on partner website nagaland10.jagranjosh.com / nagaland12.jagranjosh.com.

Along with providing vital clues about probable date for NBSE Results for HSLC and HSSLC Board exams, the notification also details the special efforts of the NBSE Board in bringing out the results on time. Nagaland Board of School Education had implemented several innovative steps to this end. The most noteworthy among them were organizing answer sheet evaluation camps across the State for a period of two weeks and managing digital uploading of marks of over 38,000 students on their website. Backed by such efforts, the NBSE hopes to bring out Nagaland HSLC Result 2016 and NBSE HSSLC Result 2016 out on time by 03 May 2016.

The NBSE HSLC Board Exam 2016 was organized at 72 centres across the state from 10 to 23 February 2016. The first paper of English language was held on 10 February 2016 while the final paper of vocational subject was conducted on 23 February 2016. This year 22,969 students have appeared for the Nagaland HSLC Board Exam.

This year’s NBSE HSSLC Board Exams were conducted in the month of February at 50 centres across the State. The coveted examinations began on 09 February 2016 with English language paper and continued till 27 February 2016 when last paper of Computer Science/Information Practices was conducted. Since the completion of examination in February, a total of 14,508 students have been waiting for the announcement of NBSE HSSLC Result 2016.

In 2015, both Nagaland HSLC Result and NBSE HSSLC Result were declared on 30 April, in which fate of 37,269 students was announced. For Nagaland HSLC Result, 23,612 candidates received their results, in which the overall pass percentage was reported to be 63.05%. In 2014, the pass percentage was 65.19% in 2014. On the other end of the spectrum, a total of 13,657 students received their Nagaland HSSLC Result, last year. The NBSE Board HSSLC Result saw the overall pass percentage fall to 72.13% from 78.27% in 2014. Taking gender wise performance into consideration, girls performed better in the HSSLC exams, with a pass percentage of 75.59%. Boys could only manage to secure 67.28% success ratio. Boys and Girls performed at par in the HSLC Results, last year.

Looking at the increased participation of students this year, the NBSE is expecting the overall pass percentage to show positive growth this year.

The NBSE Results 2016 are considered to be the most important school level public examination results in the State, as they pave the way ahead for the students to seek admission for further studies.
