Speaking to sunday mid-day Dipti Josheri, Kuntal’s wife said, “He is there with one of his friends, who called his wife at noon to say they were safe. I had last spoken to him on Friday when he told me that their things were going smoothly and they were to return to basecamp today. I am not sure whether they are already at base camp or stuck between camp two and base camp.”
