Amre said, for Mumbai to play the Ranji final at the Wankhede or the Brabourne Stadium is not about gaining the home advantage. "It's about the sentiments of the die-hard Mumbai cricket fans. It's about the occasion, the atmosphere," he said.

"We have got a lot of die-hard fans whose sentiments are attached with the team. They will miss the opportunity to enjoy this moment.
"I can imagine the atmosphere at the CCI with Sachin Tendulkar and Zaheer Khan playing and now, how it is going to be in Hyderabad."
Amre said playing the final in Mumbai would have beenu00a0 ideal simply because it had the best wicket in the country.
Home advantage?
"It is not about home advantage. If you talk about good sporting wickets in the country, then Mumbai and Mohali are at the top of the list. It is one of the few wickets where you can have quality cricket; where they will have something for everyone.

"Last year, the main matches like the Ranji and Duleep final were played in Mumbai because of the quality wickets here and not because of the home advantage. It is not easy to score 600 runs at the CCI or Wankhede."
