The Pune traffic police had taken stringent measures to curb traffic offences. They booked and fined 353 people under the relevant provision of Motor Vehicle Act section 185 from late Thursday till the wee hours of Friday.

The offenders include 85 people from Pimpri-Chinchwad area of Pune city and 140 people who were pillion riders under section 188 punishment for abetment.
