Chasing 315 after the Windies declared their second innings at their overnight 130 for three, the Indians gave yet another poor performance to be dismissed for 152 in the 86th over.
Left-arm spinners Miller and Permaul, who had taken four and five wickets respectively in the Indian first innings that folded for 245 to give the Windies a 184-run lead, again did the bulk of damage on the fourth day to lead their side to a splendid victory.
The only solace for the Indians was the batting of Manpreet Juneja who followed up on his first innings score of 84 with a fighting 70 (193b, 4x4, 1x6), but received no support from the other end as the home team capitulated.
Brief scores: West Indies’A’ 429 & 130-3 decl beat India ‘A’ 245 and 152 all out (Manpreet Juneja 70, Jiwanjot Singh 24; Nikita Miller 5-40, Veerasammy Permaul 3-56) by 162 runs
