The major objection is to the cheergirls who have become an important part of any IPL game attraction.
District magistrate Kuldeep Ranka said: "While giving conditional permission to the IPL for the match, we have directed the organisers that no exciting and titillating music could be played and no women in provocative, indecent attire would be able to perform in public during the match.

The playing of music after 10 pm and use of fireworks are also banned under the apex court orders."
According to reliable sources, Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot is against cheergirls performing as it goes against the culture of the state. There is a ban on selling liquor in shops after 8pm and the state government wanted to ensure that no excise laws were flouted by the match organisers.
"We have to abide by the orders," said Dixit.
"It will be a dry IPL game with no cheergirls performing and the high price that we paid for tickets would be a waste. It's a mockery of IPL cricket," said cricket fanatic Jeevan Deewan, who bought eight North Block
tickets for his family.
Another spectator Shrawan Singh Rathod said the organisersu00a0 should have made it clear before selling tickets that there would not be any cheergirls and no liquor. "What a pity that there would be no glam dolls and booze to boost your spirit. We shall have to do with nimbu pani," he said.
