No middle ground for KJo and Ekta?
Emraan Hashmi and Kareena Kapoor-starrer faces a roadblock apparently due to differences between the producers Karan Johar and Ekta Kapoor
There have been rumours doing the rounds that the upcoming Emraan Hashmi and Kareena Kapoor-starrer tentatively titled 'Badtameez Dil' has been shelved due to differences between its two producers, Karan Johar and Ekta Kapoor.
The film was supposed to be directed by Akshay Roy. A well-placed source says, “The film been stalled for few months due to some internal issues in Ekta’s production house. However, both the producers are keen on doing it and have decided to take a break for a couple of months.”
It is said that the makers also wanted to cast a fresh face when Kareena refused to do some intimate scenes with co-star Emraan Hashmi. Later, Kareena and Emraan moved on and have allotted their dates to other projects.
KJo admits putting this project on hold. He says, “The project has not been stalled it just that we have taken a break for few months. There are some internal issues in the production house so once those gets sorted, we will resume work on it.”
