Van Persie appeared to exclaim "No!" when Wenger replaced Oxlade-Chamberlain with Andrey Arshavin.
"I was not having a go at the bossu00a0-- I was just sad to see Alex leave the pitch as he just gave the assist for our only goal. I was not questioning his (Wenger)u00a0 judgement," Van Persie said in a statement on his Facebook page.
