Cast and crew of TV show, 'Doli Armaano Ki', which went off air last September, are allegedly awaiting payment of their dues since seven months
Last month, the cast and crew of Doli Armaano Ki had registered as many as 19 complaints against the production house for failing to clear their dues after the show went off air last September. Sources say their remuneration totalling R10 crore has been withheld for over seven months.

An actor, who was part of the show, says, “Complaints against Pearl Grey were filed with the channel and producer’s guild, but there is no development yet.”
Neha Marda, who played the female lead in Doli..., however, says, “I have been paid every penny for working on the show.” Mohit Malik, who was seen as the antagonist, refused to comment.
JD Majethia, co-chairman of Indian Film and Television Producers’ Council, says he is unaware of the progress in the case. “As far as my knowledge is concerned, the matter was not pursued. But I am not sure it was resolved internally,” he adds.

Anjali Mukhi, who played Neha Marda’s mother on the show, alleges that they are indeed awaiting payment for over seven months. “In my case, I trust Pearl to pay me, if not now, then eventually. More than money, I value the actor-producer relationship. I am sure she will make the payment when she has the money, even if it is in parts. As actors, we should stand by the producer when in need,” she says.
Despite repeated attempts, Pearl remained unavailable for comment.
