3G version of the classic Nokia 3310 is set to come in a new avatar from mid-October
The classic Nokia 3310 is now set to come in a new avatar. HMD Global has announced the launch of a 3G version of the classic colourful Nokia 3310. With the introduction of 3G service, the nostalgia-loaded phone is expected to attract a huge customer base.

Apart from 3G connectivity, customisation option like choosing colour themes and rearranging icons are also available in the new device. HMD Global has briefed about some other features that have undergone changes. The size of the handset has slightly gone up to create more space between the keys and to make typing more comfortable.
Nokia 3310 3G will sport a 2.4-inch QVGAcolour screen, 1200mAh removable battery and 64MB storage capacity. However, battery life is reduced as compared to the 2G version. Yet, the good news is that users can get up to 27 days of standby time as compared to the 25.3 days of standby time available in the 2G version.
The phone comes with a dual SIM version. It will be available will be available in Azure, Charcoal, Warm Red, and Yellow colours. The phone is expected to roll out globally from mid-October.
