Reports claim that Nokia is expected to launch Nokia 9 premium smartphone in Q3 and price it around Rs 44,999 in India

After the re-incarnation of the celebrated Nokia 3310 feature phone, the mobile giant is now set to launch its flagship smartphone, Nokia 9. Expected to be priced as high as Rs 44,999 in the Indian market, Nokia 9 is expected to flaunt a series of high-end features including QuadHD OLED display, cameras with Carl Zeiss lens, 6GB of RAM and Iris Scanner.
Nokia 9 is expected to launch in Q3 or somewhere between June and August, though no official announcements have been made yet. According to a report, the launch delay of the smartphone is because of the availability of its processor Snapdragon 835 chipset.
Apart from the above mentioned specifications, Nokia 9 is also expected to be packed with Snapdragon 835 processor, 3,800mAh battery backup, 64+128GB of inbuilt memory, Android 7.1.2 Nougat out of the box, Nokia OZO audio enhancements, 22MP dual-lens rear camera 12MP front camera.
Nokia till date has a high fan following in the Indian market and therefore the company considers India to be a key market segment.
