Mobile application sends SMSes to parent, when child enters school bus, reaches school
THE latest mobile technology will allow you to learn, through SMSes, when your child boards the school bus and when he or she safely enters the school.
Mobile solution provider company Infotek Software and Systems (i-TEK) is on the lookout for tie-ups with schools that will allow you to do just that.

"When the student enters the bus, the bus driver or assistant can send a SMS to parentsu00a0 through Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) photo ID-card, which is installed on his phone," explained Patil.

The i-TEK application can also be used by schools to keep a tab on the movement of their students.
