Now, let your passion take its own course
Ever thought of doing a course on irrational behaviour, history of Rock, understanding Einstein, or archaeology's dirty little secrets?
Forget school, learning is always meant for fun or a ‘just-for-kicks’ activity. Besides, if it’s free, online, convenient and the cherry on the cake — coming from the top universities in the world, it’s pretty hard to say no! Founded by two Stanford University computer professors, Coursera is an online platform that aims at making learning accessible to anyone and everyone.
Think, Cambridge, Duke, Pennsylvania, Tokyo and Princeton University, the list is inexhaustible. The courses are as short as three weeks and some even extend to two and a half months.
The fun part is you need to register and enroll in the course, watch lectures whenever free, do easy breezy tests, network with like-minded people from all over the world and earn a veritable certificate that you can proudly put on your CV. What’s stopping you?
