The news has come as a great respite for the students, who were reeling under the pressure of rumours and speculations. In addition to this, the BSE Orissa notification also said that on April 27, the Orissa HSC Result 2016 would be made available on online platforms including the official website of the board i.e, orissaresults.nic.in and bseodisha.nic.in. Apart from this, the board is also planning to make details of Matric Result 2016 Odisha with other third party internet websites like http://odisha10.jagranjosh.com.
A recent rumour had suggested that the Orissa Matric Result 2016 might be delayed due to technical problems. This had compelled the BSE, Odisha to issue a clarification and announce April 27 as tentative date for Orissa Result 2016 for Class 10 students.
Students can visit the above-mentioned website on 27th April to get their results very easily. The process of checking Odisha Matric Result 2016 is very simple and involves submitting candidate’s roll number / hall ticket number on the website. Students will also be provided the facility to take a print out of the result mark sheet by result websites.
This year, a record 6,01,348 students are awaiting the declaration of Orissa Matric Result 2016. The increased student participation in this year’s board exam presented a unique challenge before BSE, Odisha in terms of bringing out the results on time. In order to tackle it, the board implemented several innovative steps and special efforts. These include setting up of special 67 e-school centres, where nearly 16,000 teachers and evaluators worked from March 11 to March 24 to check the answer sheets of students. In order to minimize errors and inaccuracies, the board has also organized online tabulation centres to process the result data. The online tabulation centre is managed by a private firm, which enhances the efficiency of the process. Backed by these special efforts the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha has managed able to bring out the Orissa HSC Result 2016 on April 27, which is in line with the general academic calendar followed by the board.
The increased student participation has also raised hopes of the board in registering increased success ratio / pass percentage. In 2015, a total of 5,49,374 students had appeared for the board exams, of which 82.56% or 4,51,959 managed to clear the examination quite easily. In terms of district wise performance, Balasore recorded the highest pass percentage of 91.58%.
