"I got inspired by shows on Discovery Channel and have decided to pursue Civil Engineering after which I plan to become an IAS officer.

I studied regularly throughout the year and am content with my marks," said Navneet Balraj Mehrol, a student of Ramnivas Ruia Junior College, who topped in Electronics, scoring 200.

Mehrol also topped the Science Stream in the Backward Class in the city. Mehrol also scored a 99 in Maths and secured a rank of 24 in the IIT-JEE exams.

"In my Std X, I scored a 99 out of 100 in Sanskrit and missed topping in that subject by just one mark. Hence, I chose to take Sanskrit now and worked hard and studied," said Samiksha Jain from Mulund College of Commerce, the Sanskrit topper scoring a 98.
