Over 45,000 people have been fined for riding without helmet in the first four days of this year in Mumbai, an traffic police official said here today

As many as 11,889 people were fined on both second and fourth day of this month.

On January 3 and 5, 11,026 and 12,904 people, respectively, were found riding without helmet, the official said.
