Pakistan struggle against Sri Lanka

Sri Lankan pacers wrecked havoc into the Pakistan batting line-up yesterday with the latter reeling on 176 for eight after 41 overs at the time this newspaper was going to press, chasing 235.

Lasith Malinga with 3-31 off eight overs was the wrecker-in-chief for the Lankans.   

Earlier Lankan opener Upul Tharanga and Mahela Jayawardene scored fighting half-centuries to propel their side to 235-7.
