Singer Kailash Kher has had a great start to 2010. The Allah Ke Bande, Saiyyan and Chandaan Mein singer became a proud papa on December 28, and has named him Kabir. 
Awestruck!
The new daddy cool told CS, "It is a great feeling. I am totally overwhelmed and can't express my feelings. The realisation that a new life has come into this world leaves me absolutely speechless. It also makes me respect a woman a lot more. I now understand how my parents must have felt when I came into this world."
Baby's day out
The singer is preparing to welcome the baby at home.u00a0 Sheetal, his wife and her friends have made a nursery for the new born. "There is a wall filled with Calvin and Hobbes cartoons. And Sheetal has made a huge collection of soft toys for my son," says Kailash. "A lot of gifts are coming for my son. So, I haven't started my toy shopping yet. But I will swing into action pretty soon," he adds.
Come on, baby
According to Kailash, Kabir is a relatively quiet kid. "He does cry a little at night, especially when he is hungry or wants a nappy change, but he is mast otherwise," laughs Kailash. So, when does the singer plan to introduce his baby to music? "I have a hundred plans in my mind for my kid. But everyone has to make his own journey in life. It's God who will write his destiny, not me. I only want him to be a good human being with the right values," says Kailash.
