Paras Babbar, who is seen playing the role of Sahir Modi in the TV show 'Saath Nibhana Saathiya', accidentally injured his co-star Rashmi Singh while shooting for a Holi sequence.
According to the ongoing track on the show, Paras had to dance facing the camera and his onscreen wife Rashmi's entry was from behind.
While performing for the dance sequence the actor's elbow accidentally hit Rashmi's nose and it started bleeding. Being responsible for her injury Paras rushed to give her immediate medical help.
"Since we were shooting for the Holi sequence, everybody was excited about giving their best shot. I went all out for the performance and didn't realise she was standing behind me," Paras said in a statement.
The actor said he felt for what happened. Even though Rashmi was injured she did not stop shooting.
"As soon as her nose started to bleed I thought it was my responsibility to make sure she is alright. The strong girl that she is didn't want the shoot to get disturbed and continued to shoot within half an hour," he said.
