New Delhi: Congress leader P.C. Chacko on Friday said that the Parliament canteen need not be subsidised too much for its members.
'Parliament canteen need not be too much subsidised. Too much of subsidy for parliament canteen is not anecessity,' Chacko told ANI.
On Wednesday, Biju Janata Dal (BJD) MP Jay Panda gave up his subsidy after revelations that MPs dine in Parliament at highly subsidised rates
Panda took to twitter and said that he had written to Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan giving up his subsidy.
