Close on the heels of coming back from the Cannes Film Festival where the film premiered, word is that the film’s theatrical rights for France and Brazil have already been sold.
After an Indian production house picked up the rights for the film’s release in India, our sources say that the rights for Brazil and France have raked in a cool R 50 lakh. That too, a lot ahead of the actual release date.
Co-producer Guneet Monga informs us, “We are on the last leg of closing the deals in countries like Germany, Benelux and Sydney and we are also in talks with representatives for other markets in Europe, Russia and America. Once we complete this process, we will be releasing the film.”
