The musicians, who separated in the early 1980s, performed at a fundraising event hosted by Jemima Khan to help Palestinian children, reports the Mirror.

The pair performed a trio of Floyd tracks - 'Wish You Were Here', 'Comfortably Numb' and chart-topping single 'Another Brick In The Wall' - as well as the Phil Spector song 'To Know Him Is To Love Him'.

The performance by the bass player and guitarist was for the Hoping Foundation (Hope and Optimism for Palestinians in the Next Generation), organised by Bella Freud. They played to around 200 guests and played songs for charity pledges.

Also performing on the bill was Nick Cave - who was joined on tambourine by Kate Moss - and Tom Jones.

More than 350,000 pounds were raised for the charity at the event at Kiddington Hall in Oxfordshire.
