Play began on the fourth day of the second and final Test between South Africa and India after a wet outfield delayed the start by 90 minutes on Wednesday.


South Africa, trailing by 347 runs on the first innings, resumed their second innings at 6-0.


The Proteas lead the series 1-0 after winning the opening match in Nagpur by an innings and six runs.
