Pluto Mehra, the adorable dog from 'Dil Dhadakne Do', is on Twitter!

The cutest member from the Mehra family in 'Dil Dhadakne Do' is now on Twitter! Pluto Mehra, the adorable bull mastiff voiced in the film by Aamir Khan, is on the micro-blogging website to chat with fans and followers.

Following the trend of changing names on Twitter to suit characters' names in films, the official Twitter account of 'Dil Dhadakne Do' @DDDTheFilm changed its name to Pluto Mehra on Wednesday. The surprise move got fans excited and made #PlutoMehra one of the top trending topics on Twitter.

Pluto's first tweet read, "Hi, I'm #PlutoMehra, the coolest member of the Mehra family! @RanveerOfficial @priyankachopra @ShefaliShah_ @AnilKapoor"

He followed it up with a tweet encouraging fans to chat with him. "I'm taking over @DDDTheFilm Let's chat! #PlutoMehra" he tweeted.

And if the selfie craze can take over humans, why not the canine breed? In one of his tweets, Pluto shared a selfie too and wrote, "That moment when I tried to take a selfie... What do you guys think? #PlutoMehra"

Zoya Akhtar's multi-starrer 'Dil Dhadakne Do', which released on June 5, touched a chord with the audience, although the opening day collections were a tad below expectations. While it raked in close to Rs 10.5 crore on day one, the figures saw a steady growth over the weekend taking the total to Rs 37.05 crore. (Read the full box office report)
