The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) on Saturday stated that a notice issued by the Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (MMRCL) to discuss the resettlement of government offices and offices of political parties near Metro Vidhan Bhavan Station in the upcoming Metro 3 line in Mumbai, has received co-operation from all the political parties. The meeting was headed by the Additional Chief Secretary, Sumit Mallick.
“It was heartening to receive a positive response,” said Ashwini Bhide, MD of MMRCL.
There are 26 government offices and eight political party offices near the upcoming Metro Vidhan Bhavan Station. Represen-tatives of 14 government offices and six political parties attended the meeting. MMRCL suggested MTNL, BSNL, MbPT and World Trade Centre as alternatives to accommodate the offices.
