Glasgow: Top seeds Pranaav Jerry Chopra and N Sikki Reddy suffered a narrow defeat against Malaysian pair of Goh Soon Huat and Shevon Jemie Lai in the finals to finish runners-up at the Scottish Open Grand Prix here.
Pranaav and Sikki, who had clinched the Brazil Open in September, squandered a first game advantage to lose 21-13, 18-21, 16-21.

In the decider, Pranaav and Sikki had a 6-1 lead at one stage and they managed to hold a 16-12 advantage after the break but a nine-point burst by the Malaysian helped them to shut the door on the Indians and seal the title.
