New Delhi: Pacer Praveen Kumar felt the Indian bowlers lacked practice which resulted in their dismal showing Down Under.
India lost the Test series to Australia 0-2 and remained winless in the tri-series which also included England.
"We were not up to the mark during the Australia tour. I feel there is lack of confidence in India's pace department. Their line and length were totally out of place. They are not bowling in the right areas," the right-arm medium pacer said at a cricket conclave here.
"Our bowlers are not spending enough time in the nets. That is the main reason behind our poor showing," Praveen added.
Pace ace Ishant Sharma, who missed the fourth Test and three ODI's of the tri-series due to a knee injury, remains doubtful for the World Cup.
