Prince Harry to visit Hurricane Sandy victims during US trip
Prince Harry (in pic) is preparing to visit the United States again in May.St James's Palace has announced the Prince will visit on behalf of the charities he works with, and will make stops in Washington DC, Denver, Colorado, New York and New Jersey.
Prince Harry will meet with wounded American troops during his visit as well. The central theme of the May trip is to support injured servicemen and women from both Britain and America. Harry is also slated to visit victims of Hurricane Sandy in New Jersey.
It’ll be a business trip for the popular royal, but Prince Harry is also scheduled to take part in a polo match while visiting Connecticut.
The visit is also focused on charities that the prince supports, such as landmine clearance, a cause that was close to his late mother princess Diana’s heart.
Noticeably missing from his itinerary is a stop in Las Vegas.
Prince Harry’s infamous visit to Sin City in 2012 resulted in a nude photo scandal that rocked the palace.
“I let my family down,” said Prince Harry about the ordeal. Since then women who claimed to have spent the drunken night with Prince Harry have come forward, with one even planning a tell-all book about the wild romp.
