All-rounder fires Rizvi into Cup final with 163-win over IES Raja Shivaji
Rizvi Springfield's Prithvi Shaw is keen to finish the inter-school cricket season on a high. Shaw, whose all-round display (115 runs & 2-11) was the catalyst for Rizvi's 163-run victory over IES Raja Shivaji (Dadar) in yesterday's Coca-Cola Cup semi-final at Cross Maidan, has just one thought on his mind now winning the Cup.Rizvi's Prithvi Shaw during yesterday's Coca-Cola Cup semi-final against

"I want to end the inter-school season by helping my team lift the Cup," said Prithvi, who was named man of the match.
Rizvi face the winners of today's semi-final between Anjuman-I-Islam English (CST) and IES VN Sule Guruji English (Dadar) in the final on February 14.
Prithvi is not too worried about his opponents in the final though: "We are not worried about whom we face in the final.
"What matters is that we are confident of winning. Sule Guruji look more likely to be our next opponents. But we defeated them in the Harris Shield final and I'm confident that we can beat them in the shorter version as well," said the 12-year-old Santacruz resident.
In yesterday's semi-final, IES Raja Shivaji bowlers took a beating as Rizvi posted 291-6 in the stipulated 45 overs after winning the toss and electing to bat.
Shaw's 115-run knock consisted of 11 boundaries and one six. Skipper Armaan Jaffer also contributed with a 63-run knock.
Rizvi tweaker Sidak Singh (5-21) then helped bundle out Raja Shivaji for 128 in 34.2 overs. Tanmay Wadkar (41) was the highest scorer for Raja Shivaji.
