At least three of Priyanka Chopra's film projects hinge on the final episode count of her American TV show 'Quantico'
Three of Priyanka Chopra's Bollywood projects are dependant on the final episode count of her ongoing American TV show, 'Quantico'. Apart from Prakash Jha's 'Jai Gangaajal', the actress has not yet decided which film she will take up next. The films offered to her include Sanjay Leela Bhansali's production, 'Gustakhiyaan' featuring Sushant Singh Rajput, Boney Kapoor's 'Sikhni' and Abhinay Deo's untitled superwoman flick.
Says a source, “She has shown interest in the three films, but what's left to be seen is which one she will take up first since her date diary is packed for 'Quantico'.”
Initially, the show, which is about FBI recruits, was to be a 13-episode affair. Later, the episode count was increased to 19 and now, it is 22. The weekly show began in September-end and it will continue till early March.
The source adds, "The episode count is likely to be reviewed. If a decision is taken to add a few more episodes, the actress will have to juggle her Bollywood commitments in the first quarter of 2016 and whenever possible, keep flying back and forth between Montreal and Mumbai."
Priyanka is slated to arrive in the city by Saturday following a break in 'Quantico' schedule from today due to Thanksgiving Day, which is celebrated with great fanfare across the US. The festivities continue till the weekend. During her short stay in Mumbai, PeeCee is also likely to greenlight one of the three films that will roll first.
The actress' spokesperson says, "She is currently enjoying every moment of her packed schedule and will take a decision about her next shortly."
