Gujarat Fortunegiants recorded a comfortable 39-28 victory over U Mumba in Vivo Pro Kabaddi League. Sachin was the star for Gujarat as he scored 13 points to lead his team's charge. Kashiling Adake scored 10 points for U Mumba but didn't get enough support from his team-mates. U Mumba were let down by their defence as they couldn't contain Gujarat raiders.

Gujarat Fortunegiants are now top of Zone A with 51 points from 14 matches. U Mumba are third with 39 points from 14 matches.
Gujarat Fortunegiants were quick to get off the mark as they led 3-1 after two minutes. Shrikant Jadhav scored with a two-point raid as U Mumba led 4-3 in the fourth minute. In the next couple of minutes both teams traded points as U Mumba led 6-4 after eight minutes. Sukesh Hegde made a two-point raid in the 11th minute as Gujarat Fortunegiants led 8-7.
It was a close affair in the first half as both teams refused to give an inch and were level at 10-10 after 15 minutes. Gujarat Fortunegiants scored four points in two minutes to lead 14-10 in the 17th minute. Kashiling Adake scored with a two-point raid to reduce U Mumba's deficit to two points. Anup Kumar had a quiet first half for U Mumba as he failed to get on the score sheet. Gujarat Fortunegiants went into the break holding a slender 14-13.
The second half saw both teams trade points in the first five minutes as it was 18-16 in favour of Gujarat Fortunegiants. Sachin scored with a two-point raid in the 29th minute to give Gujarat 22-18 lead. An all out was inflicted by in Gujarat in the next minute to lead 25-19.
Shrikant Jadhav scored with a two-point raid in the 34th minute as U Mumba trailed 22-27. Sachin scored with a super raid in the 37th minute to give Gujarat 33-29 lead. Gujarat inflicted an all out in the next minute to lead 37-25. Gujarat were comfortable winners in the end as they wrapped up with 39-28 score line.
