Aggressive raiding by Sukesh Hegde helped Telugu Titans garner three points in the closing minutes to pull off a tie with hosts U Mumba 35-35 in the Pro Kabaddi League at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Stadium in Worli yesterday.

Mumbai looked to be running away with the match, leading 19-9 at the half-way mark. Shabeer Bapu Sharfudheen led the scoring for Mumbai with 10 points. Rahul Choudhari top-scored for the Titians with 12 points.


Mumbai, who lead the table with 13 points (2 wins and a tie), will look to keep the momentum going in the last league match at home when they take on Patna Pirates today.


Earlier, Delhi Dabang beat Puneri Paltan 35-31, to register their first win. Delhi got off to a solid start, gaining two bonus points via lona and packed off the entire Pune side to take a 9-1 lead within just two minutes.
