Punjab beat Mumbai 3-2 in Junior Men National Championship

Punjab registered their second consecutive win, as they defeated Mumbai Hockey Association 3-2 in their Pool A league match of the 3rd Hockey India Junior Men National Championship being played at Motilal Nehru School of Sports in Rai, Sonepat on Tuesday.

Punjab scored through Simranjeet Singh (30 min), Varun (65 min) and Lovepreet Singh (67 min) while Manpreet Singh (9 min) and Rajat Sharma (33min) were on target for Mumbai Hockey Association limited. In the other match of Pool A, Jharkhand hammered Kerala 8-0. In Pool C, Chhattisgarh defeated Mizoram 3-2.
