Radhika Apte, who hails from Pune, is in Mumbai to celebrate Gudi Padwa. On this occasion, the actor, who has been seen in films like Manjhi: The Mountain Man (2015) and Hunterrr (2015), reminisces her childhood memories of the festival.

She says, "My parents are always at work and on Gudi Padwa we all used to be home and my mum would put the Gudi out in the terrace even before we woke up. I would always be excited to guess the colour of cloth she has used that year."
The actress has been living in Mumbai away from her parents who reside in Pune is expecting a special treat from her mother this year. "Puranpoli is one of my favourite dishes. So, I am hoping my mom sends some this time,” says Radhika.
The actor brings in the New Year with a lot of aspirations. She also promises to keep doing the work that she believes in and give her hundred percent to what she chooses to do.
