The speculation around Pratyusha Banerjee's pregnancy finally came to a close as the doctors gave the reports to the police.

According to the histopathological examination of tissues taken from Pratyusha’s uterus, it seems that Pratyusha was a few weeks pregnant. The reports apparently also indicate that the foetus had a premature death and since the fetal tissue was infected and degenerated, it indicates that it happened during an attempt to terminate the pregnancy.
