India 'A' had ended the third day at 158-4, still 108 behind Australia 'A's first-innings score of 435. The visitors had scored 169 in their first innings.
Hardik Pandya made 79 on day one to prop up the tourists in their disappointing total of 169, while Shardul Thakur claimed 5-101 in the home team's first innings. Akhil Herwadkar (82*) saved his best knock of the series for the last, in India's 158-4.
