Bundi: An eight-month-old baby girl was today found abandoned on the railway track in Rajasthan's Bundi district.
The baby, who was found near Balapur village under Lakheri police station was rushed to a Community Health Centre (CHC) by Railway Police Force (RPF) and later referred to J K Lone hospital, Kota, where she is undergoing treatment, police said.

"The girl was unwell but did not have any injury," Lakheri police station SHO Prem Chand said.
The RPF personnel brought the infant to Child Line today and she was produced before the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) at Kota. They asked the girl to be sent to girls shelter home, said Bhupendra Singh, a member of Child Line.
An investigation is underway, police added.
