Rajasthan Royals beat Kings XI Punjab by 43 runs

Rajasthan Royals registered their fifth victory of Indian Premier League-V (IPL-V) when they beat Kings XI Punjab by 43 runs at the Punjab Cricket Association Stadium on Saturday. They are now on 10 points. In reply to Royals’ 177 for six, Punjab could only manage 134-8 in 20 overs.

Earlier, skipper Rahul Dravid top scored with 46 off 39 balls for Royals while Australian Ryan Harris was the pick of the Punjab bowlers, taking four for 34. Shane Watson played a 17-ball cameo of 36 while Ashok Menaria (34 off 27 deliveries) and Brad Hodge (36 off 23 balls) chipped in with some useful contributions.
