Indian Premier League chairman Rajeev Shukla has resigned from his position, as controversy continues over allegations of spot fixing in this year's tournament.
Shukla told reporters his decision had been influenced by the resignations of BCCI secretary Sanjay Jagdale and treasurer Ajay Shirke. “I have decided to quit as IPL chairman,” he was quoted as saying by PTI on Saturday.
