Superstar Shah Rukh Khan's "Thalaivar Tribute (lungi dance)" from "Chennai Express" is said to have received a nod by legendary actor Rajinikanth
The song, by rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh, pays a tribute to Rajinikanth, who is given the title Thalaivar (supreme leader) by his fans.

A source close to the film says, "Obviously if Shah Rukh is giving a tribute to Rajinikanth, due permissions have been taken. We hear that Rajinikanth sir has blessed the song and given a nod to it".
Directed by Rohit Shetty, "Chennai Express" also features Deepika Padukone. It releases Aug 9.
