While MNS wants security increased, other parties question letter's authenticity

After Raj Thackeray received a letter from Bihar threatening to kill him by December 25, the MNS has demanded that his security be reviewed.

Raj currently has minimum police security, which means he has four-six policemen. "We received the letter three days back and have submitted it to the police.

I also ask the state government to review the security of Thackeray saab," said Nitin Sardesai, MNS spokesperson.

Other political parties believe this is a stunt. Samajwadi Party leader Abu Azmi said, "This letter is a stunt to get him maximum security."

Police Commissioner

D Sivanandan, has denied reviewing Raj's security on the basis of the letter. He said, "We are investigating the authenticity of the letter.

He has already been provided with sufficient security."

U S Dutt, additional director general of the Bihar police, said they'll cooperate with the Mumbai police if they're approached.
Letter Says...

We, the five members of Sarvoday Samaj Katihar, are taking an oath to kill Raj Thackeray by December 25 for his anti-North Indian activities.

We believe that all his activities against Hindi are not only against the north Indians but also an abuse to Bharat Mata (Mother India).

The recent attack on an MLA of North Indian origin, Abu Azmi, has hurt the feelings of people of the Hindi heartland.
