Ramayana gets coded on iPad

If you find religous comics boring, perhaps, you should check the new audio comic book on Ramayana, available on iTunes Store. Amar Chitra Katha has launched Ramayana - as told by Hanuman!, an audio comic book that combines audio and pictures together to tell the story of Ramayana from none other than the great Hanuman.

The comic tells the story of Ram and Lakshman, as they leave in search for Sita. It could be read in two ways - read it yourself or get it read out to you. While the previous one is aptly suitable for adults, who are not very keen on pictures, the latter is something both kids and adults would love, especially because the graphics of the 36-page storybook, created by Cannes-Award winning director Gitanjali Rao, look superb; the voice of Hanuman is given by young actor Partho Gupte. Our lone crib? The app is available only for iPad.
