After their last outing, 'Tamasha' (2015), hit theatres, it was rumoured that Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone won't share screen space at least until 2018, considering their respective movie slates.

Ranbir continues to be busy with the Sanjay Dutt biopic and his maiden co-production Jagga Jasoos even as Ayan Mukerji's Dragon is scheduled to go on floors later this year. Deepika, on the other hand, spent the first quarter of 2017 promoting her Hollywood debut, 'xXx: The Return of Xander Cage', and is now busy with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Padmavati'. But, if sources are to be believed, the ex-flames might just get together for a mini project.

Ranbir has been roped in to endorse a cellphone brand and the creative directors, we hear, have been brainstorming over getting Dippy on board, given the duo's magical on-screen chemistry. The ad makers are hunting for a noted filmmaker to helm the shoot.

An insider says, "The shoot is likely to take place next month before RK and Dippy get busy with their respective films. It shouldn't take more than two days."
