Now that’s what good bosses are like! Ranbir Kapoor may be in the news for his films and his romantic dalliances but the actor flaunted his kind side when he stalled a shoot to come to the aid of his make-up man Hemant Naik. Hemant had sustained injuries on the sets of his film.
A source says, “Ranbir was shooting for Karan Johar’s Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani in Manali when a huge reflector fell on his make-up man. It was a windy day and the reflector fell on Hemant’s head. Within no time he was bleeding and Ranbir rushed to him along with other crewmembers. While he was being taken to the local hospital, Ranbir insisted on going as well.”
The actor apparently took him in the production’s car and the make-up man was given some stitches. “And only when the doctors said that he was fine and would be discharged by the evening or the next day, did Ranbir leave and report back on the sets. Hemant and the others were touched by his gesture,” adds the source.
