Rani Mukerji shows up sporting Sanjay Leela Bhansali's favourite colour red as she launched his maiden telly venture
When her career was going through a rough patch, he gave her Black. And when Rani Mukerji came to launch Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s debut television project, she gave him red. Rani donned a red saree for the day and is said to be aware of Sanjay’s love for the colour.

A source says, “Initially when she was approached, Rani didn’t have the time to attend, as she had some other commitment. The production house and the channel didn’t mention her name on the official invite that went out.” However at the last moment, the actress decided to give SLB a surprise and arrived at the press meet in a gorgeous red saree.
The source adds, “She said since she is always indebted to Bhansali for giving her Black, she cancelled her appointments for the day. She chose to wear a red saree not only because it was Valentine’s Day but also because SLB loves the colour.” Rani tells us, “I would love to have Sanjay sir as my Valentine.”
