Trust Ranveer Singh to be part of something wacky. According to a report by BollywoodLife.com the actor will be slapped by 21 strangers in the song 'Ude Dil Befikre', which happens to be the movie's title track, instead of leading lady Vaani Kapoor.

But, there is a reason for this. As part of the song's sequence, Ranveer will be seen wearing two boards, one across his chest and the other across his head, which state that he is too lazy to work and wouldn't mind being slapped across his face for 1 Euro.

Ranveer Singh, actually requested the extras lined up for the sequence to slap him as hard as they can so that the it looks authentic.

The song is expected to be released by Thursday noon.

'Befikre', starring Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor in lead roles is being produced and directed by Aditya Chopra under the Yash Raj Films banner. The film was shot in Paris and Mumbai over a period of 50 days. It is expected to release on December 9.
